SEEN AND HERRD

For all the winosin NEW York there's a new wine bar opening Wednesday.
Terroir, is a new East Village wine bar from team Grieco and Canora of Insieme and Hearth. Some of the food being served up are calamari salad with smoked chick peas, bread and Parmesan dumpling soup, and fried sage leaves with lamb sausage.
And happy hour features five wines for five bucks, and Heavy Metal Night will showcase vino from iron-rich soil.

Terroir, 413 East 12th Street, between First Avenue and Avenue A (no phone).
They have no phone but smoke signals and cups with string are excepted.

IN LA, there's a new supper club bought to you by Brent Bolthouse called Foxtail.
You can reserve seats in the dining room and eat caviar, onion soup gratinee, seared tuna nicoise, and lamb ragout. Ym sign me up for that yuck fest. But wait there's more....
In a few weeks, the swank dance floor upstairs will open, as will the cozy enclosed patio where you can take five by the fireplace. don't be surprised if this place ends up on the next season of the slags.....er Hills.

Foxtail, 9077 Santa Monica Boulevard, between Doheny Drive and Nemo Street, West Hollywood (310-859-8369).
