Photo Source:WennAccording to Hollywood TV.com, British actress KATE BECKINSALE has given up on driving - after failing to land a license in California.
The star concedes she is the only celebrity in Los Angeles who can't drive, and is convinced her nine-year-old daughter will be mobile before her.
She says, "I applied for my permit and then I failed the written test. It was 'how many units of alcohol are you permitted to have' I don't know that.
"My daughter's nine. Soon she will have passed her test, then she can drive me around. Or I'll get one of those old persons' motorised chairs.
"People always look so happy on those."
Girl I hear you that driving test has the most biz-zarre questions...i failed on a question about a guy with a cane stepping out into the road....I went something like he put his came on the street and then pick it up....should you go and something about what is mostly likely to get you a 1000 dollar fine....litter, something about drving too fast or signs, and putting a dead animal on the road and I failed cuz I thought "who would actuall put road kill I the middle of the road grizzoss"
And for the record Kate your husband's a hot piece...never let your eyes off him.
And for the record I passed my second time.
here's Kate in my favorite movie of hers....Serendipity...I'll admit I F**king love this movie. Everytime it's on TBS I sit therelke an idiot watching it and wondering if Jonathan (Cusack ) will find Sarah's (Kate) phone number in the book. And then I call Jamie and she's watching it too. We've both seen this movie every time it's on TBS. It's like our brain is DVr'd to watching this movie. It could be the sunniest day of the year on a Saturday afternoon and we'll still sit and go "oh Serendipity." Kinda odd but we dig it.
