Ok first off the night before I went to Panama I went to a networking party and had a Jessica Simpson moment ....So I talked to this guy about how I'm going to Panama in South America and he goes "Oh yeah I've been to Central America before" and I go " Yeah South America" and he gives me this look....and I reiterated the convo to Kate the next day and she laughs at me and says...." Panama is Central America...it connects South and North America" So I kackled at what an ass that guy must of thought....I knew Central America existed i just thought they were called South americans and not Central Americans.....And a side note my poor roommate didn't understand why the Panama Canal was important.....We are some efffed up Americans....come haul our asses off to history class stat.....
The Panama Canal and the locks is actually pretty cool to see. Some boats only have 6 inches to get through the locks....it's a tad scary but they do it....The DVD movie tour is not....of course me and my friend who's an editor talked about how we coulda produced that 10 minute video better starting out with he fct that the techno music in the open just doesn't go with the Panamanians working in rivers and monkeys swinging from trees.....
We also saw old Panama City and other parts of it....
